The union took the decision today at Adekunle Ajasin Auditorium of the institution after an emergency congress summoned by the executive of the union after “due consideration, negotiation.”

A reliable source close to the union who preferred anonymity said the union might again embark on industrial action if its demands were not met after six weeks of resumption.

Meanwhile, the management of the institution has announced that the accreditation exercise for all the programmes will commence on Friday 28th of October, 2017 and will last for three weeks.

It would be recalled that the lecturers went loggerheads with the state government on the 31st of August and has since embarked on an indefinite strike.
