The crisis rocking the Ondo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC seems to have no end in sight, as some members of the party have called for the suspension of former Deputy Governor of the State, Ali Olanusi and former party Chairman, Isaacs Kekemeke.
The group under the aegis of Elders’ Caucus of All Progressives Congress in Ondo state made the call at the end of an emergency meeting in Akure.
The call came in reaction to the Olanusi-led group demand for the dissolution of the party executive in the state led by Ade Adetimehin.
The 10 point communique at the end of the meeting which had members from all the 18 local governments in the state was read by Senator Olorunnimbe Farukanmi.
They said they believe in the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole and governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
They also passed a vote of confidence on the Adetimehin-led executives.
The elders also asked all aggrieved party members to sheath their sword, so the party can emerge victorious across the state in the 2019 general election.
