Alleged killer of late Ondo Chief, Bademosi not dead – Prisons

The Nigerian Prisons Service, NPS has debunked news making round that Sunday Anani, the alleged killer of late Ondo Chief, and Chairman of Credit Switch Technology Limited, Ope Bademosi.

Spokesperson of the Nigeria Prison Service, Lagos Command, Rotimi Oladokun told PUNCH on Wednsday.

“I have confirmed that he is in the prison and he is doing fine. There is nothing wrong with him,” Oladokun said.

News filtered in Wednesday that the suspect who is being remanded in prison custody was dead.

Anani, the Togolese cook just hired by Bademosi was alleged to have stabbed his late boss to dead 3 days after he was employed.

The police subsequently arrested him in Ondo and charged him to court.

When the case came up for hearing before the Lagos state magistrate court on November 12, 2018, Chief Magistrate, Mrs O.O. Oshin adjourned the case until December 18, 2018 pending legal advise by the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

She also ruled that he be remanded in prison custody.
