Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has appointed Princess Oladunni Odu as the chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB.
The appointment which was announced in a press release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Segun Ajiboye has nine members.
Odu was also the chairman of SUBEB during the administration of late governor, Dr. Olusegun Agagu after being Commissioner for Education under former military administrator, late Navy Captain Anthony Onyearugbulem.
The 9-man board has full time members, which Odu is one, while the other two are Princess Olufunmilayo Brown and Mr Tayo Isaac Fayanju.
Others in the board are three ex-officio members, representing the three Senatorial districts in the state, and three other members representing other groups.
The ex-officio members are: Augustine Oloruntogbe representing the north; Adebiyi Ayinuola, central and Adenikinju George, south.
Other members of the board are: Alhaji Omolaja Abimbola PTA; Comrade Victor Oladele Amoko, NUT and Mrs Ronke Ojo, Women Group.
